FAQ's- TPA Scotland | 2025/2026
Why do I have to pay during school holidays or the summer break?
Your monthly payments are part of a 12-month subscription plan that spreads the annual cost of classes evenly across the year. While classes run for approximately 38 weeks during term time, your monthly fee remains the same throughout the yearโincluding holiday monthsโfor simplicity and affordability. This helps families budget more easily and avoids large seasonal payments.
What if my child no longer wishes to attend TPA Scotland?
We require one full monthโs written notice for all class cancellations. Please email your cancellation to: info@theperformanceacademy.co.uk. One final monthly payment will be due after notice is given.
Important: Class cancellations cannot be processed during July or August, when our offices are closed and staff are on annual leave. If a cancellation request is sent during this period, it will not be reviewed or acknowledged until our offices reopen. Please note that cancellations made during holiday periods may still incur charges for classes already delivered between AugustโAugust. One final full payment is due following cancellation on the 1st of the following month.
Can I pay by cash, cheque, bank transfer, or any other method?
No. All payments must be made through our online subscription system via Class for Kids. After careful research and parent feedback, we have chosen this method for its convenience, reliability, and administrative efficiency. Having one streamlined payment process allows our team to focus more on delivering high-quality teaching and creative development for our students.
What happens if in-person classes are paused due to another Covid-19 outbreak?
In the event that classes cannot take place in person due to a Covid-19-related lockdown or similar situation, online classes will be provided as an alternative. This ensures continuity of training and allows students to continue learning and progressing without disruption.
Will I be charged extra for rehearsals before class displays (Christmas or Summer)?
No. Any additional rehearsal hours for in-class displays (e.g. Christmas or Summer classwork) are already included in your monthly subscription. There are no extra fees for students participating in these class displays.
